Edo Ichi

Irasshaimase!!

That means welcome in Japanese!

So I went for a very very very lavish dinner with a bunch of good friends and I think I didn't do it justice if I don't blog it out. I'm very uninspired today so it may just be a picture spam kinda post. But warning it's absolutely mouth watering!

Hello Sake!

Never have this before so I had try it out! If you ask me, it taste very different from the other alcohol. A little sniff and I can feel alcohol vapour running up my nose. The good thing is that it doesn't burn my throat at all. So it's much smoother compared to other alcohol.

Apparently very disgusting if served cold so it's kept warm all the time.

READY FOR THE STAR OF THE SHOW?

This sinful giant pot of freshly cut sashimi! This thing cost like RM 400! I was feeling quite sad cause I don't like raw stuff. But I tried the prawn anyway. It was super sweet! Eating it with the wasabi makes it double awesome! The wasabi there is freshly ground so it put those normal prepacked wasabi to shame!

Totally irrelevant but here is me showing off my chopstick skills!

But look at that huge ass fish egg! Not one bit of funny taste! So fresh it's like explosion my freshness in your mouth!

Plate of sea urchin

Put some in the seaweed and roll it up.

First time having this and I totally understand why this is considered one of the finest food! It's creamy and fresh. This is a must eat!

More sashimi! So freaking THICK! Thicker than my face!

Soft shell crab roll

Fried fishes

Fried soft shell crab. This is a bit too salty for my liking

Unknown fried stuff

This is what I got for craving for Boston steam lala! But this one is way more alcoholic than the one from Boston. However, fragrance- wise I think Boston still wins!

Teppanyaki scallop.

Enough said. Look at the sheer size of the scallop. So yummy!

Cod fish with mentai I think. This was so good that we actually ordered two! If you came here and did not order this then might as well go eat at Sushi King la! Trust me, it's THAT good

Garlic fried rice

Japanese are like some magical unicorn like creature that can make yummy garlic fried rice. It's generally yummy regardless where you have it.

Sour plum onigirii

Wanted to try the authentic sour plum onigirii so ordered one even though it's gonna be super filling. Sigh~ I sometimes wish I stay in Japan. Peasant food also super yummy

Tempura!!

Do not underestimate the size of the prawn because the lower end of the prawn is hidden under the stash. I had to cut it in half or else it's too heavy for my chopsticks.

Ice cream!

The Yuzu ice cream is good. Apparently Yuzu is like Pamelo or something along the family of orange. So it's like sweet and sour in every bite! Yummy! The black sesame is good too. I don't like green tea cause it tastes like perfume. But seriously, do not order chocolate unless you're 10 and below.

Here's the receipt just in case if anyone wanna know the price breakdown.

Okay really super uninspired to write cause it's raining outside. Wanna nap so badly.

But MUST SHARE GOOD FOOD EVEN IT'S ONLY PICTURESSSS!

Okie doke

NAP TIME~
