Pince & Pints: A Tummy Full of Yummy Lobsters

Move away crabs and prawns cause it's lobster season!

Ever since Pince & Pints made it to KL, it has created an uproar among food lovers. The Chili Lobster and the Lobster Roll is virtually everywhere on social media. Heck, it's even famous already during the soft launch.

I thought like okay why not some lobsters for a pampering meal. What is life if you don't spend some hard earned money on good meals hehe. Okay that could just be my case cause I'm quite glutton! There's still chances of me getting kidnapped, lured by food.

So, we went to Pince & Pints on a Tuesday night. It's relatively easy to find. It's in Telawi 5, Bangsar which is just slightly further up the street after turning right from McDonald's.

Please don't hesitate and make a reservation!
I don't know where I got the idea of not calling them up but even on a weekday it's full housed! I got lucky to have gotten a table. Nearly had to eat sitting on the bar table. I reckon the crowd would be crazier on a weekend so better call them up to secure a spot. Anyway, some reservations may go up to 9:30pm so we left immediately after we're done eating. No gazing into each other's eyes there! Lol.

Cozy atmosphere

Hello~ it's us

The shop is small but very cozy. Secretly wish for an expansion soon!

The menu is simple with a few choices. Each dish cost RM 158++ because each dish will have a full lobster of approximately 600g.

Menu!!

They had quite an elaborated drinks menu for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to live up to the "pints" part of their name. The bar table was comfortable and the bartenders are so nice and chatty! Got a mocktail, recommended by one of the bartenders.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Interesting taste. A balance between sweet and sour with a tinge of kiwi. I quite like this! Definitely a must try

Tools to devour the food!.

Introducing the stars of the night!
I had the Chili Lobster which sounds like a typical dish but served with crabs.

But it's no where near typical

I definitely think 2 girls can share a dish. The portion is quite big for me the finish it on my own

Let's start with the sauce. It's so rich and spiced I feel like I can finish all the sauce if I have like 10 more man tau!

Paired that sauce with the chewy and fresh lobster meat is like having bites and bites of heaven in your mouth. The pairing is so perfect!

The best part is when you dip the man tau in the sauce. So so delicious! If only the have like.. more man tau wtf!

We also ordered Grilled Lobster.

Yum yum in the tum!

Oh plus points for serving fries with actual potatoes in it

I personally love how grilling it brings out the freshness of the lobster. It was grilled but the juiciest and tenderness of the lobster meat is still so well preserved. So mouthwatering!

If I have to choose between both I would say I can't. They have both their own pros and cons. I like he freshness and the taste of the Grilled Lobster but the sauce of the Chili Lobster is impossible to resist! Though, if I get to pick I would much enjoy the meal if I didn't fracture and wrist and couldn't tackle the lobster at all.
Note to self: lobster is not a good choice for broken wrist.
The staff is really friendly and speedy. They are very busy yet they serve you with a smile! How lovely.

Just FYI they also do birthday celebrations! We got some ice cream on the house and they did a little birthday gig. Of course, if you want cake then you have to buy yourselves and bring it there since they don't sell desserts. But really, their service is SUPERB!

Sorry for the blury picture but thank you guys for the hospitality!

Ring them up for reservations at 03-22013233!

Pince & Pints

Definitely a great dining experience!
