Today's super overdue post is about my Penang Food Trip a loooong time back. Please don't hate me for making you drool!
Which human can travel 4 hours without any snacks?
Tadaa! I had fish snacks from my childhood. It wasn't sliced will so its all stuck together
Standard Asam Laksa near Kek Lok Si for the 1st meal!
Fresh sugar cane juice.
100% sugar cane without water or sweetener. Best for a thirsty traveler
Only in Penang, you get asam laksa in a market facing a spectacular view.
Made to order sugar cane drink and the asam laksa stall.
Add a black and white filter and taadaa it's so artsy!

My favorite MUA CHIIIII!
It's soft and chewy, topped with roasted peanuts. The texture in your mouth is super awesome!

I thought it was good relative to the ones in KL. But I had another one later and this is just so so.

It made the curry noodle in Jalan Burma taste like crap. As I'm typing this I'm so tempted to land in Penang from HK. Just to have a bowl!
Why can't KL offer Wan Tan Mee like this one?

It's like mini pancake with banana and corn! Why can't find in KL? Why?!
Erm never play with your food but it's fun to make D= and =D with apom.
Rojak dabao back to hotel from Gurney Drive.
Parents went Jalan Burma again for supper. Bought back fried Mee Jawa.
Similar concept to fried asam laksa in SS15. Unique taste. Not something I had before.
Another curry mee. Not as good as the previous one

Super oily.
Well it was a short 2D1N trip. So didn't explore too many food places.
Shall make a trip there again before holiday ends.
It's just ANOTHER penang trip. BUT AWESOME AS USUAL.
It's okay to drool but warning keep some drool for more vacation blog posts coming up soon!
