Wake Me Up

Hello again~ Fluff up your pillow. Snuggle in your blanket. Its pillow talk time.

So wake me up when it's all over, when I'm wiser and I'm older..

Some of you may have recognised those lyrics as the current most played song on the radio waves. For those of you that don't know, this is an excerpt from the chorus of the song Wake Me Up by Avicii.

So those of you that know the lyrics, can you guess what this post is about?

Yup, that's right. The young DJ will be performing in Malaysia on the 30th of November at Sepang Welcome Centre! *fan girl AHHHH* Can you believe that Avicii aka Tim Bergling is only 24 years old?! My gosh, only three years age gap. And so big talent gap.

Anyways, I first heard Avicii's Wake Me Up as I was preparing for my exams. They say that when you are under pressure, you get more easily distracted. And when you are distracted, your mind will pay more attention to song lyrics. It was like love on first listen (sight?). Since then, I have replayed this song so many times that it has become one of my most played songs.

Wake Me Up is #2 Most Played!

I really want to go for his concert because.. I'm an Avicii fan! Most people have only heard his Wake Me Up single, but his other songs like Seek Bromance and Party Next Door (ft Taio Cruz) are just as good. GO LISTEN NOW. I'll wait here while you do.

Done? Incredibly addictive right?! I'm sorry but not sorry if I turned you into an Avicii fan. *wink*

You know that painful feeling when your favourite artist is coming to perform but you have to miss the concert? I missed Bruno Mars' concert because all the tickets were sold out! I did manage to catch LMFAO's concert though. But I bet Avicii's concert will be as fun, if not more fun.

I also really want to go because I don't understand why after these superstars perform once here, they NEVER. COME. BACK. They usually perform again at places like Singapore and Philippines but not Malaysia. So if I miss Avicii's potentially-only-once-in-Malaysia concert, who knows whether I will get another chance to watch him perform here again?

Plus plus, this concert is THE concert of the year. I can imagine telling my children/grandchildren, "when I was your age, I went to Avicii's super concert." And they will cling on to my every word as I describe the intense action and beats of the night. Not bad for a supercool mother/grandmother eh?

I'm also a typical Malaysian. I always aim for the most value for my money. Going for Avicii alone is already very value for money. But there's also Bassjackers, Martin Garrix, Chukiess and Congorock. Even more value for money. The typical Malaysian in me is satisfied.

So. One question remains; if this concert is all that, why am I not going? I opened my purse and flies came out. Ah. Dreams shattered. Heart broken. Time to sit in a corner and cry.

But it's okay! I'll just wish that some silly heads dropped their tickets somewhere or tickets fall from above *hintnuffnanghint*. Tell me how it goes if you're going! Or.. You may see me there if my wish comes true!

Till then~ toodles.
