Hope everyone reading this is doing well! Figured that when we were in primary school and that's how teachers will force us to start an essay.
Anyway, not writing here today to reminiscence the good ol' days back when we're 12! Remember a while ago I wrote a review on Boat Noodle? Since then, I realized many boat noodle places popping out here and there like zits when I'm PMS-ing!
So I thought like why not try out other places? I mean I do enjoy the taste of the noodle! More adventure for my tongue is goooood! Ended up going on on a new voyage to Zab Zab Boat Noodle!

Zab Zab is located in Kuchai Lama. Gotta admit! That place is actually quite hard to find if you're not familiar with that area. The good thing is that I know the owner of the shop so a clear direction is just one call away! (by the way! Not doing advertorial because I know the owner ah! I didn't get discounts or whatever for blogging) And the traffic is HOR-RI-BLE! Encountered like 2 road bullies while I'm in that area. Ranted in my Dayre a while ago so haha.. my blog post is actually super back logged!
To give everyone a clear direction, if you can find Chatime, Zab Zab is just to the left of Chatime.

Actually went there during tea time well because I can! I mean how often can you crave for noodles and you get small portion right?

Pretty simple menu since there's only 4 types of noodles available! You can choose dry or soup and with keuy teow or mee hon! Simple as that. I felt really macho when I ordered cause I just went..
Boss! Give me two of EVERYTHINGGGGGGG!Like some really rich man ordering every dish on the menu! Double some more! Fuiyohhhh
I have never been to Thailand so I really don't know what to compare the Boat Noodles here against. I mean.. it's not like I know the real real thing from the place of origin! But it seems like this is closest to the real deal all because the chef is imported from Thailand!

This was the coconut jelly ordered by my partner in crime! I usually hate jelly because it feels like you're biting into thin air. This one, I'll make an exception becuase it's super refreshing! Like AmbiPur in the mouth kinda sensation. Maybe I should give all jelly an equal chance from now on! Lol

LOOK LOOK! Can tick off my bucket list for wanting to fill my table with food! Haha
My verdict is that OHMYGOSH BOAT NOODLES ARE LIKE MY THING! So yummy! Haven't been to a shop that disappointed me. My personal favorite is the keuy teow soup! The soup is like Tom Yam-ish but not really! It's all sweet and sour. The sour taste just lures you to keep chowing down the noodle and at the end, YOU HAVE TO DRINK THE SOUP AS WELL!
Although, I feel so meh since the sour taste just made me more hungry and ordered more of it! The sour and sweet fragrant in your mouth is something that will definitely make you crave for more! For example, I am starving now at 1am from describing alone! Annoying ah this black hole stomach!
I also realized something... The portion!
For an equal amount of RM 1.90, Zab Zab offers more in a bowl!

Also super generous with the pork lard please! Oh yea~ It's a non-halal restaurant!
So mouth watering! The sweet sour and a tinge of spiciness is like the MUST HAVE!
Oh I also had authentic Thai soy milk! So wow.. Much Thai.. Such originality. LOL
Put a lime in a coconut and drink it all up!
So how much did I eat? Mind you that I went in with a super adventurous mood thinking aiya bite size noodles only ma! GIMME 10!!!! But no lo! The noodles are actually in a pretty decent portion with meat and meatballs. It's actually more filling than you expect! I ended having so little only... According to the chart I am like average! Feel like a loser leh!

If you think this is easy peasy then go give i a shot! You'll be surprise how you kinda suck at eating small portion noodles! LOL
