Day 6 - Back At Sea
Woke up pretty late today. Ate brunch, and went for the ice skating show at studio B. Overall, the production was very enjoyable because of the many different elements inspired by the unique elements in various parts of the world (big top).

Then we went to find the mysterious bridge. My dad accidentally stumbled upon it yesterday, but wasn't able to find it again. So we set off together to find this mysterious place that had been overlooked by our initial exploration. We finally found the place out on deck 11. There was actually another door in a corner of the deck which led out into another smaller deck that directly led to the bridge. Funny thing is that the viewing area was next to the gym! If we had gone to exercise, we would have seen this place!

After that, the rest opted to take a dip in the pool, but I was lazy so, I found myself a comfy, shaded deckchair and planted myself in it. When mum brought over their towels, I helped myself to one and used it as a pillow.
Halfway through dinner, the waiters put on a little show for us. They gathered around the piano area and proceeded in a circle around the dining hall while waving napkins in the air. Then some of them continued with Gangnam Style, a Chinese song and another Indonesian tune. We wore formal on the final night for this!?
After dinner, we went to pack stuff. Before the cruise we were told to put our luggage outside our room before midnight. Then the night earlier we were notified that the time had been updated to 10pm. Once done, we went to watch a farewell production.

Then the cruise activities director; Dan Dan Mian's ended with Top 10 Weird Questions Guests Have Asked. I don't remember all 10 but the funnier ones are:
- Is the toilet water freshwater or seawater? He doesnt know he has not tasted it.
- Which elevator to take to get to the front of the ship? Um. Elevators go up and down.
- Is the day of the week mat the same on every floor? Um. Still same answer. Elevators go up and down.
- Does to crew sleep on the ship? No, the crew takes a jet ski every day to work.
- Does the ship generate its own electricity? No, the ship is plugged into a huge socket back in Singapore. Now they're reeling back the wire as they head back.
After that we headed to see the twisting competition in Studio B. The ice skating rink had been covered with wooden tiles. They picked 5 pairs that twisted the best and then has a showdown between them. In the end this korean couple won. Apparently they have only been married for 5 days! And this is their honeymoon vacation. As winners, they were treated to a red carpet (read: toilet tissue) walkway and dumped with random goodies. One at a time. Boxes and wrappings were counted as separate items! Anyhow, all 5 pairs received a tshirt.
Then went back to the room. Needed to wake up at 6 the next morning. But..got distracted by Megamind on tv. Don't know why after all these years I have not watched such a good movie.
Oh here's today's towel art! A swan and a peacock!
We talked to our room attendant and found that he knows over 20 different towel art animals! These are just the simpler ones that only uses one to two towels.
Day 7 - Final Cruise Day
Final morning. Woke up at 6. Then we showered and had a quick and last breakfast at windjammer. Our check out time was 7.40am. When we were called, we made our way to our designated waiting area and then proceeded off the ship through the gangway. Then we got through customs and were greeted by a sea of luggages! Luckily they were all grouped according to different checkout numbers.
This is only about 10% of all the luggages there. And there were more coming in!
Spent the rest of the day at a nearby mall. Buying souvenirs, etc to bring back.
For tea, we stopped at Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Such cheeky wall posters!
Day 8 - Back Home
For the final meal on this trip, I got to eat my mee pok!
Then went to board bus. My worries that we would jam back were true. Spent almost 90 minutes on the Johor Causeway. Enough time to almost finish watching Sky High. Not a really good movie, but it has its moments.
You know you are back in Malaysia when the bus stops and leaves the engine running in front of a sign to turn off the engine.
Finally at 7:45pm, the bus reached its destination.

Ps: So the countdown clock didn't turn out so well. The original message was supposed to be "Welcome to 2014 Pillowtalkers!" but it was too long, and got cut off at "Pi".. Had to cut off the word Pillowtalkers for the message to fit. Lesson learnt. Make sure that the message length fits!
